Job description:

At Carefree Design Center, we design, build, and install custom closets, garage storage, and organizational systems for residential homes and business offices.


Hiring In-House Closet Installers

  • $22 -$24/hr based on previous closet installation experience.
  • Typical work schedule: M-F, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Benefits after a 30-day probationary period: health insurance, 401K, and holiday pay.
  • MUST have a valid Florida Driver's License.
  • Tools and a delivery van are provided to installation teams.


Job Duties Include:

  • Installing suspension/hangrail closet systems, garage systems, closet cabinets, and wall bed systems.
  • Reading design plan/layout
  • Working with hand tools for installation
  • Assembling parts for installation
  • Lifting heavy objects
  • Working in a residential job site
  • Operating company vehicles and machines safely
  • Maintaining and cleaning up the work area

Starting at $22/hour with a clear path to $80,000–$120,000/year in commission as a Design Consultant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales and Design Associate to support our experienced Design Consultants. This is a career-track position designed to train and develop you into a full-fledged Design Consultant within approximately one year.


You’ll learn the ins and outs of custom closet design, client interaction, and sales strategy while assisting with project coordination, design preparation, and customer service. This is a unique opportunity to grow into a high-earning, long-term role at a stable, respected company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ·Assist Design Consultants with client appointments, measurements, and design planning
  • Prepare design presentations and proposals using our design software.
  • Coordinate with installation teams and ensure project timelines are met.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up.
  • Learn the full sales process to transition into a Design Consultant role.
  • Work out of our showroom to assist walk-in clients and showcase our custom closet solutions.
  • Follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns and client inquiries.


Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in design, home organization, or sales
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning design software
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and team-oriented
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
